COURSE OVERVIEW

Course Length: 8x 1-hour sessions over 8 weeks

Day Structure: 1x 10-minute introduction, 1x 45-minute lesson, 1x 5-minute finish
COURSE DESCRIPTION

In this After School STEM Coding Club, kids in Years 5 and 6 will be introduced to STEM & Coding concepts that help run the world today. Led by our tech-savvy instructors, the students will be taught key programming and STEM implementations and how to apply them in exciting ways.

Challenging, interactive, and lots of fun, this course helps to unlock the world of programming and STEM for young people, sparking an interest that makes them want to keep on exploring it!

In Term 2, students will become rocket scientists and space engineers as they use 3D design tools to take humanity to MARS! Students will discover if they have what it takes to join those at NASA and the Australian Space Agency as we take one giant leap into the future.

By learning how to design, code and put together the key skills learnt this term, students will be able to design their very Space Ships and Mars Bases!
