COURSE DESCRIPTION
Inspire future innovators straight from school! The Y.Hub has partnered with STEMSmart to nurture, inspire and create young digital makers aged 6 through to 12 in the Yanchep area. These term-long after-school programmes run for one hour, once a week, for 8 weeks. The curricula includes coding, robotics, engineering with electronics, video game design, app design, creative design and much more!

Students will be guided through a project-based learning curriculum, building fundamental skills across many different types of topics. Challenging, interactive, and lots of fun, this course helps to unlock the world of programming for young people, sparking an interest that will make them want to keep on exploring it! The only limit is your IMAGINATION!

In Term 2, students will become rocket scientists and space engineers as they use 3D design tools to take humanity to MARS! Students will discover if they have what it takes to join those at NASA and the Australian Space Agency as we take one giant leap into the future.

By learning how to design, code and put together the key skills learnt this term, students will be able to design their very Space Ships and Mars Bases!
