COURSE DESCRIPTION
Coding with Minecraft is a game-based learning platform that offers a transformative way to engage students. This course will be an introduction to computer science using the Minecraft Education ecosystem.
Using the familiar open-world game, this course promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive environment. Students will have access to a world where they will need to complete and approach challenges using coding (Python), to navigate the pre-constructed Minecraft environment.
In the immersive challenges students will collaborate on projects with classmates, document their work and share their progress, personalise their game, and communicate the objectives in the game.
